Key Responsibilities
Drive sales, find new business, qualify leads, clients’ negotiation, closing deals, record and update all information about customers, opportunities and leads or provide technical information to businesses.

What we’re looking for
Passion for technology and analytics
Degree in Business, Economics, Law or similar.
Commercial experience / business development with companies, preferably in consultancy or technology areas.
Excellent written and verbal communication and articulation skills.
Great commercial ambition, used to work based on objectives achievement.
Existing relationships in target sectors a plus.
English speaker and fluent in another major European language.
Availability to travel in and outside Portugal occasionally.
Innate interest in learning about customers behavior through both numbers and qualitative data.

What you’ll do
Create, manage and develop new business client opportunities, from cold-calling to close of business:

  • Generate leads

Through cold calling, online outreach and inbound marketing, develop a database of leads/prospective clients segmented by specific criteria; attend exhibitions or networking events where potential new business opportunities could be pursued.

  • Create a value proposition

Research the client and sector to identify possible client needs and solutions. Present our services to prospects and create solutions for their requirements. Set up meetings to visit the client and close business. Increase your market knowledge and develop relationships with clients by keeping them up to date on the latest and most relevant news for their business.

  • Improve the business revenue

Through cross selling, upselling, and development of emerging business opportunities. Creation and management of referral, loyalty and membership plans. Develop strategic partnerships and expand service offerings.

  • Position the brand as a thought leader/expert

Build brand equity and attract ideal customers through carefully curated content through social media, blog articles, speaking engagements, industry panels and other high-profile events to showcase the company and its expertise.

Web Developer

What we’re looking for
Curious and detail-oriented self-starters looking to commit to a goal-oriented project that aims to create innovative solutions for mass audiences. Eager to solve real-life problems, with an appetite for knowledge and the implementation of cutting edge technology in software solutions.

What you’ll do
You will be part of a team that spearheads research and development efforts for innovative projects within the company.
Your task will be to design, implement, maintain and improve our existing web platforms, as well as developing new projects from start to finish.
As part of your daily work, you will work closely with your fellow team members, having daily scrum meetings to discuss progress and discussing requirements with stakeholders to ensure the final product exceeds their expectations.

Technical Requirements

  • Qualified web developer with skills on the web-tier end user interface as well as the middle-tier service layer.
  • Domain expertise in JavaScript and JQuery
  • Good understanding of web-sockets and real-time coding
  • Working experience with PHP, Laravel Framework and NodeJS/NPM
  • Modular ADR and MVC system development
  • General Knowledge of Web API usability
  • Detailed understanding of Libraries/SDK’s such as Facebook SDK, Google API Client, etc.
  • High Experience in Database usage Mainly MySQL and MongoDB
  • Understanding of version control, specifically Git
  • Experience with Apache and working locally (XAMPP)

Digital Marketing Specialist

GBSN is in need of an experienced and ambitious Marketing Specialist to oversee development, execution and delivery of digital content across all our channels. You will play a key role in the success of our inbound and outbound marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for sales channels . Responsible for sourcing new leads through proactive prospecting activity using best in class lead generation techniques. Qualify and advance inbound marketing leads received through our Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) into sales-ready leads for assigned territory. Works in partnership with sales to drive visibility, engagement and demand in support of sales goals.

Reporting to: Founding Team
Mission: Community management, content production, lead generation, driving online sales, engagement and demand in line with the brand values.

  • Responsible for the processing, development and advancement of inbound leads from opportunity into sales ready leads
  • Responsible for sourcing new leads for sales using lead generation techniques
  • Supports Sales by conducting targeted outbound prospecting activities to drive new customer identification in key markets. Gather profile data and new contacts. Identify and validate key influencers and decision makers
  • Build strong relationships with ISG and field sales representatives. Work collaboratively to convert qualified leads into pipeline and revenue
  • Create, organize and track all lead/prospecting activities through Salesforce
  • Comply with all lead-management-related service-level agreements
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Writing all different types of content (blogs, ebooks, bylined articles, case studies, one-pagers, social media posts, videos, etc.).
  • In addition to creating regular content, you’ll identify opportunities for our subject matter experts to contribute to prominent outside publications in our industry.
  • You will work cross functionally to provide content and copy as needed for our website, speaking decks, email copy, proposals, sales collateral, and more.
  • You’ll collect, monitor and analyze social and website metrics, and make improvements accordingly.
  • You will manage the distribution of content across all social channels including email distribution. You have a strong understanding of the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying event and partnership opportunities and coordinating our participation.
  • You’ll help deepen and expand our relationships with leading analyst firms by participating in regular analyst briefings and inquiries.
